Parish Pastoral Council

“The Parish Pastoral Council is made up of parishioners who have an interest in the life and development of the parish”.

The Parish Pastoral Council enables priests and people to work together to build up a dynamic Christian community.  The Parish Pastoral Council is not a group of experts in catechesis, liturgy, pastoral care or education.

Working in an advisory capacity, the council assists the priests in providing leadership for Parish ministries, programs, and activities.

The Parish Council researches, and sets goals for the development and growth of our parish community.

The Parish Pastoral Council is broadly representative of all strands of parish life and its present members are: Fr. Peter O Connor Co PP., Neasa Ní Laoire (chair),  Mary Whelan (child protection), Helen Barrett, John Cuddy, Babs Crum.  Paul Owens

Parish Finance Committee

The Parish Finance Committee advises and assists the priest of the Parish in all areas pertaining to the financial management and administration of parochial assets, monitoring finances in relation to the parish's budgeting and planning for future expenditure.

Income for the Parish comes from contributions to the Family Offering Collection, proceeds from the weekly Parish Lotto draw and offerings from Shrines.
